Random Photo Quote:
A studio session ... provides the greatest chance for control. [But] even though there is total freedom, I still dislike studio photography and the contrived images that usually stem from this genre.  Eve Arnold - "Great Images of the 20th Century : The Photographs That Define Our Times" by Kelly Knauer

In memory of long time SBCC member
John Bohner

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the snow on the mountain's rim,
I am the laughter in children's eyes,
I am the sand at the water's edge,
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle Autumn rain,
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight,
I am the star that shines at night,
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there, I did not die.

John, we will miss you.

Monthly Poll
When photographing things that might be targets of terrorists.
I never worry about such things and shoot away.
I worry about that and do not shoot the location.
I shoot and run before anyone notices
I have already been detained by the police
I am a terrorist 'All your bases are belong to us'

Help support your local camera store!

We are lucky enough to have 2 great full service camera stores that are local to our members.

Before buying on-line or from some chain store, how about giving them a chance at the deal. They have always been there for us, now it is our turn to be there for them, or next time you need something now, they may not be around.

Visit Silvio's Photoworks and Paul's Photo for new and used film & digital cameras, accessories, workshops, and all the other goodies real camera stores carry. You will sleep better at night knowing you did your part.
