WORKSHOPS OFFERED
by the SOUTH BAY CAMERA CLUB

1. "Photo Essay" workshop:

2. "Digital Photography" workshop:

  • To be announced

 

3. "Studio Lighting" workshop:

Learn how to use the various types of studio lighting equipment, props, and sets for both portrait and still life photography. This workshop will be held at Absolute Imaging in Torrance on the 3rd Thursday of each month. This workshop is limited to members only, and is limited to a maximum of 10 students. A $15 workshp fee is payable at the first workshop to cover incidentals. Contact Phil at 310-320-5828 ext 311 for details.

 

4. "Talking About Photographs" discussion group:

The object is to look at photos, both your own and those of others, and to try to explain whether they have impact or not and what can be done to improve them (if possible). Each participant must bring at least 1 or 2 of their own works (no smaller than 8 x 10 inches) and at least 1 photo from a printed medium (magazine, book, etc.) or even Internet images of another photographer’s work (minimum 8 x 10 also). The discussion format will involve everybody.

Workshops are open to club members only.
