Thanks for a very practical site. I've been working in 35mm since 1968, mostly with a pair of classic Nikons I've owned since 1972. I've scanned most of the transparencies and recently began getting my feet wet with digital.
Now digital's fast and i'ts fun, but 35mm slow transparencies are still much better, IMHO, especially when it comes to exposure latitude. At any rate, thanks for the resources. |

From Ray Osmotherly. Canberra Photographic Society. Congratulations on an excellent site. (You have given us inspiration to upgrade our website.)It is interesting to read how your club functions - very similar to ours - although we are still "talking about" getting a digital projector. We differ in our monthly competitions in that we have a "set subject" section (eg "Odd One Out", "Eyes" "By Moonlight") in slides, colour and monochrome prints as well as an "open" section in each.
All the best. Will spread the news about your site to our members.

Great website. I've sent the URL to the members of the Brooklyn Camera Club in the hope that we might do something similar. The other group to which I belong--the Ft. Greene Photography Org. already has a site you might want to see:

I like the site. Had time for a short stroll only. Moving around within a portfolio I missed the <forward> button. Found a <previous> button only. Good luck and kind regards. Ferdi. |
